Archive Red Rooster have entered the pie game! There’s two to choose from – plain chicken and chicken, bacon & cheese. Alas my favourite part was the mash, peas and gravy on top – the filing was okay but the pie was let down by very tough pastry that couldn’t be cut with the plastic cutlery provided. Either take it home, or BYO cutlery June 30, 2016Add Comment
Archive Delicious choc slabs that I bought at Truffle Kerfuffle from Busselton-based Artisan St Chocolates! The orange & Szechuan pepper is surprisingly subtle – keep an eye out for these at local markets .chocolates June 27, 2016Add Comment

Archive Finally tried one of the new Hungry Jacks “Grill Master” Angus burgers, this one the BBQ cheese and bacon. If it wasn’t for the pickles it wouldn’t have tasted at all like Hungry Jacks, but it’s quite possibly the greasiest thing I’ve ever eaten. Need a shower now. June 10, 2016Add Comment
Archive Ooh, a Limited Edition that Disney name me angry! A Snickers with dark chocolate. As simple as that. It’s a yes from me June 10, 2016Add Comment

Archive Mega m&m’s…just like…big m&m’s! I quite like these actually, they remind me of Minstrels from the UK. But nothing to get too excited about June 6, 2016Add Comment
Archive Oh goody, yet another flavour of Tim Tam – these Toffee Apple ones are exclusive to Woolies. There’s fake apple flavour there, thankfully it’s not too strong. The biscuit is red, and supposedly has a “hint of toffee” but I’d never have spotted that. Once again, not horrible but pretty pointless June 4, 2016Add Comment
Archive Here we go again, new Pineapple Tim Tams, exclusive to Coles. When I opened the packet I could smell honeycomb, and that’s how they taste too. The pineapple isn’t very strong at all, which might not be a bad thing. Not horrible, but not great either May 29, 2016Add Comment
