Finally found some of this today, in my local IGA at $2.85 for a 1.25l bottle. Now I’m not a big Coke drinker, but I’ve enjoyed a “proper” Coke & espresso combo in the past so had high hopes for this. Unfortunately, I was disappointed … I’m finding it hard to describe the flavour without being brutal. Caramel and bitter, if I’m generous. Smell reminds me of an ashtray. I really don’t like it, and shudder to think how much caffeine is in it …

I like a lot of ALDI products, but their version of a Mars Bar is horrible ?? …

Margaret River’s famous Simmo’s ice cream is now available in all Coles stores and selected IGA stores throughout WA. There’s 3 great flavours – vanilla, crispy white chocolate tease (with milk chocolate malt balls) and burnt caramel swirl (unsurprisingly my favourite). Support a great local brand and add them to your next shop. …

Found these new Honeycomb Maltesers in Coles today for $3 a bag. Unfortunately I was disappointed. The smell of honeycomb when you open the bag didn’t carry through to the flavour, and after a few I wondered why I was bothering. Real balls of Crunchie would be so much better. …

The other two flavours in this range – Southern fried chicken and tacos at midnight – were okay, but these are just odd. Actually, they’re quite unpleasant. I have no idea where the “kebab” flavour comes from. Straight in the bin …

Oh goody, new Tim Tams – this time inspired by the flavours of Gelato Messina. Here’s my first impressions: . – Salted caramel & vanilla. Tastes like many other caramel biscuit things, and not enough salt. – Black Forest. Probably the most interesting, dark choc with cherry sauce in it. – choc mint. Was excited by this, but it’s just a rectangular mint slice. A bit pointless. – coconut & lychee. I’m a big fan of white Tim Tams but this is a crime against humanity. Sickly sweet fake tasting horribleness. . Let me know what you think in the comments!!!

Oh goody, yet another flavour of Tim Tam – these Toffee Apple ones are exclusive to Woolies. There’s fake apple flavour there, thankfully it’s not too strong. The biscuit is red, and supposedly has a “hint of toffee” but I’d never have spotted that. Once again, not horrible but pretty pointless

Here we go again, new Pineapple Tim Tams, exclusive to Coles. When I opened the packet I could smell honeycomb, and that’s how they taste too. The pineapple isn’t very strong at all, which might not be a bad thing. Not horrible, but not great either

They’re still releasing cocktail flavoured Tim Tams! These “Velvet Mudslide” bites are marginally better than the other ones, the liquid filling makes them more like a biscuit-y liqueur chocolate
